Scent can be very subjective and it really depends on every individual’s personal preference. For safer options, we’ll recommend the following products:

What do we use to make our candles?

All our products are 100% natural with no added chemicals. We only use natural soy wax, therapeutic grade essential oils and fine fragrance accords to make each and every one of our candles. Soy wax is a natural, vegan and biodegradable compound which provides a cleaner burn and is better for the environment. In addition, soy wax burns longer than paraffin wax, allowing you to enjoy your favourite candle for a longer period of time!
We also use 100% cotton, lead-free wicks that are free from zinc and other metal compounds, allowing for a cleaner, toxic free burn.

Why is the colour/ appearance of your candles different?

We hand pour and handcraft every single one of our candles, with no chemicals or preservatives added. Different essential oils have different natural colours and consistencies which may affect the candle’s physical appearance. This causes a slight deviation in colour and appearance for each batch of candles made. As we refrain from using chemicals or other additives to alter the look of our candles, there may be certain imperfections such as frostings, uneven surfaces. Rest assured that it is normal for your candles to look slightly different from batch to batch.

How long do the candles burn for?

Burn times stated below strictly follow our recommended burning tips. There may be slight variations to these times depending on candle care.
4oz candles: Up to 25 hours

What is the expiry of Hush Candle’s products?

At Hush Candle, we use all natural ingredients to create every single product. The product life cycle is dependent on various external factors such as oxygen level, temperature, humidity and sunlight.

We suggest keeping your products out of direct sunlight and stored in a cool and dry place. All our candles and roll-ons will typically last for an average of 6 months upon purchase. Room sprays, essential oil blends, hand sanitisers and insect repellents can last for an average of 12 months upon purchase

How long has Hush Candle been in business?

Hush was established in 2015 in Singapore, and we’ve grown from a passion project/ side hobby to a full-fledged business with our own studio, warehouse and office space before expanding to Indonesia in 2025.

3| Shipping and returns

What is your shipping schedule?

Monday-Friday: 3pm
Satruday: 12pm

All orders that come in after our cut-off time will be processed the next working day. We will processed your order as soon as possible. There will be no shipment on Public Holiday and Sunday

My item is damaged or wrong. How can I return it?

If you believe you have received a damaged or wrong item, please email admin@hushcandle.com or WhatsApp us with your order number and a photograph of the item you received. We may ask you to proceed with sending your item back to us, for which your postage will be reimbursed. Please note that our product must be returned back to its original condition. If the correct item is no longer in stock, we will inform you when the stock will be replenished, or issue you a credit refund instead.

4| Workshops

I have an event coming up and I’m looking to have an engaging fringe activity. What are you able to offer?

For private/ corporate events, we typically have a mini scent bar/ candle making station, where guests can simply walk up to the booth to create their very own candles, room sprays, essential oil roll-ons on the spot.
Depending on the level of interactivity you require, these activations can be customised based on your specific needs.

5| Customisations

Are you able to make customised products for private events and corporate engagements?

Yes! We’ve worked with various corporate partners including Facebook, Credit Suisse, Mamonde, Macallan, Shiseido, Sephora, as well as various advertising, events and public relations companies to create customised corporate orders and even on site engagements.
Not a corporate client? We have also worked with private clients for their special occasion.
